Far away from the sycophancy of the exotic, where the view is distant, tearing apart a moment in someone's life without any attempt at the descriptive.  Hic et nunc, here and now.  This is a renunciation of the simple approach of ethno-documentaries of  “Travels in India.” Instead, it is in favour of a vision that is intimate but at the same time more open towards that different humanity, miles far away but still close in our deepest emotions.
